Marilyn Geller is an accomplished designer and product developer for the interiors industry. Deeply rooted in the conviction that design is a visceral problem solving activity, Geller utilizes Bauhausian methods that meld art and craft with innovative mass-manufacturing techniques.  Her body of work reflects a balance of aesthetics, functionality, and affordability.

Geller began her career as a textile artist after receiving a BFA from California College of the Arts. Her growing interest in the construction of cloth sparked a shift in focus from art to design. Geller honed her design and technical skills at a major contract textile distributor. During this tenure she acquired a broad knowledge of code and sustainability requirements for the contract interiors industry and a deep familiarity with a diverse range of manufacturing operations. To expand her design horizons beyond textiles, Geller founded her own creative consultancy, Flipside Design, in 2002.
