Design Inspiration

Design inspiration is everywhere. In choosing the appropriate influence for each project  Flipside Design arrives at the best possible design solution.

One example of a source of inspiration can be found in the expression "there is something in the air" reminding us that on a subconscious level there is  something simmering below the surface  that inspires design trends.  In the development of my textile "Warm and Fuzzy" I collected images with a graphic commonality.  While the images inspired the design of the pattern, the hardness of the imagery gave way to a comforting chenille textile. This shift from hard to soft illustrates the essence of personalizing a source of inspiration.
